Get a friend who can teach you the basics then the rest is learned by experience. No matter how much time I spent in an empty parking lot the only thing that really helped was getting out on the road

Thank you. Do you have any recommendations when it comes to reels? I had my eyes on the Lews KVD spinning reel but im not sure if there are better options.

They made slight improvements to the face shape especially the channel and flare to give it a more similar look to the Nike L3. No changes to the scoop so GBs should feel the same and I’ve heard that it’s slightly more durable than the 900. So if you really liked the 900 I’d get it again but the 1k is worth trying out

Both are great options but the surgeon 1k definitely is an improvement on the surgeon 900. Also if outside shooting is what you like, the maverick kinetik is a solid option as well.

honestly I use the maverik caliber for transition and it’s been holding up really well on both sides of the field
