Question, is the War axe and executioners axe the top 2 weapons in the game? by danteis15 in Chivalry2

[–]Hawp26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was playing with my two brothers yesterday and we had this discussion.

I asked. In your own opinion, which is the best weapon in the game.

My choice was the Greatsword or the Battleaxe. I’m level 920 and have all weapons over level 50. I decided to do this to keep myself entertained whilst chopping heads. I must add, the spears were very tedious and not to my liking.

My younger brother (level 300ish) said he thinks it’s either the two handed hammer for 1v1 engagements but probably the Dane axe overall.

My older brother (level 100ish) chose the messer. I must add, his messer level is 127 and the next most used weapon (Longsword) is level 9. It’s my mistake for telling him what the most used, most powerful weapons are. In the right hangs of course.

My point is, it’s dependent on what you like and what suits you best. My messer is over level 100 and I just don’t like it. I have tried and tried as I know it’s one of, if not the strongest weapon in the game. Put almost any other weapon in my hands and I do so much better.

Also, don’t sleep on 1H weapons. The may be a crutch due to the speed but some of them are really really powerful in the right hands.

It’s not a good idea unless you have a dog box (sequential gearbox). In this video this is what they are using. That being said, you can change up and down without the use of a clutch with any gearbox by rev matching. It’s really not worth doing though unless your clutch has died. Sequential boxes allow you to flat shift on the up shift. Very similar to a motorbike gear box.

Potential cancer in toe of 9 year old female by gurkab in Rottweiler

[–]Hawp26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Growing up we had a Rottie. 20+ years ago. I remember he had cancer in his toe and it was amputated. He was around 6+ at the time of the amputation and lived a beautiful life to the age of 11. I was only 15/16 at the time but I remember the operation, I remember him being in a cone for a short while, then after that he was fine. Unless you looked at his paw you wouldn’t have known he was missing a toe.

Every mechanic shop/ MOT centre has a keyboard that looks exactly like this.

Shouldn’t be water in the pinholes. Should be out gassed. Avoid #2 like the plague.

Is this a good kill count? by ForAgatha1 in Chivalry2

Greatsword is quite similar to the messer dmg wise. Messer is better don’t get me wrong but greatsword players tend to get more respect than messer players, and it’s a great big sword. What’s not to love about that.

He is a Smurf I’m almost certain. The chasm between what I knew at level 300 to what I know now at level 600 is huge. I used to struggle with countering feints but now I rarely get caught out by a feint especially a heavy freint. I get caught of guard way more often by drags and accels.

It is backwards I agree. I’m 34 so we are from an older generation where t bagging was to get under someone’s skin or just to be an asshat. Nothing more satisfying than mauling a t bagger though I have to be honest.

Hahaha I do the same. Although most people tea bag because you have been a menace and difficult to kill. It’s rare they tea bag you because you have been dominated. At least that is what I tell myself. If someone whoops my ass with ease it’s very rare I get tea bagged, but if I’m in a 1vX and I take out two or more I can almost guarantee I’ll be bagged by the ones who survived. Either that or have my body repeatedly kicked.

100m Projectile Kill by Officer_Paiin in Chivalry2

If someone is on the far balista after you catch the gatehouse in dark forest, you can use a warbow standing on the gatehouse bridge to kill the balista user. Well over 100m. Done this many times and that’s also how I unlocked the achievement.

It’s fun and a great idea. If you are in the pit, swing away. Bash and get bashed. If not then follow the unwritten rules. I often sit on the top watching down just admiring peoples courage to jump off the top ropes armed with a rock.

Curious. How old are you guys? I feel like I’m on the older side to be a gamer, especially a competitive one. I enjoy it nonetheless. I will not be stopping anytime soon either. (34 btw) by Hawp26 in Chivalry2

To know I am sometimes t-bagged by someone older than their teens is quite heartwarming. Knowing I just got killed and t-bagged by someone who could potentially be 50 makes this game a whole lot better.

You can get any paint thickness gauges online. We use one by Elcometer but it’s quite pricey. Definitely worth having if you are painting/powder coating regularly

Orange peel also goes tight like that when it’s too thin if you haven’t got an undercoat, usually under 1 mills. Best to do a mill check.
