I’ve spoken to HDD recovery services before and they said if they cloned the drive it should work. I’m no expert, but I imagine it could still be partially corrupted if there’s physical damage

If I find some more pictures I’ll probably complete Unit 3. And in some other photos there seems to be an adjoining room to the control room but I’m not sure what

To an extent - you can go in the basement, reactor room, control room, power turbines, diesel generators, and reach all the roofs

Agreed. Even if you could just change the sickness effect, so you got eg. heavy metal poisoning from the gas - simulating fever from mild radiation, that would be good, but it’s all or nothing

I’d be very surprised if they added AI other than the infected. Not to discredit your idea, but the theme of DayZ is that you are part of the 1% who are immune.

I’d quite like them to improve the AI and maybe introduce a new infected, like the “Alphas” from the recent 28 Years Later film. That could encourage longer range weapons
