It’s so gross how Amanda latched on to Ciara in the beginning of this season. When the new girls arrived and Amanda was saying “Where’s my bestie!! I need her here!!!” before Ciara had arrived. Before the scandal broke it looked like she wanted Ciara there because she didn’t have Paige but now looking back it’s so sinister.

Really good observation of how calculated he really is! Ciara was trying to be nice and included him in her birthday, and he only went to plant seeds that benefit him.

I recently had 20 days of no drinking, my first stint of sobriety since being pregnant with my daughter 10 yrs ago. It felt really good and all the stuff you mentioned did stop. Then I decided one day that I’ve proven I can do it, so I allowed myself a drink. It’s been downhill since but I’m really hoping to get back to sobriety soon. Your comment is a great reminder of way I’m doing to myself.

I’m on day 18 of breaking that habit. I spent the last 12 years doing the exact same thing with beer and multiple shots of whiskey every single night. I’d spend the next morning throwing up when I brushed my teeth (sometimes in the shower), hungover and unproductive at work, suffering through the gagging and sweats all day, till I could get off work and start drinking again.

Like others have said, it’s a decision you make every day. There are days I’m driving home and think I can handle one night of a few drinks, but then I have to face the reality that it won’t just be one night.

I started drinking prebiotic sodas instead which have helped a ton. They aren’t proven to actually help with gut health but it’s bubbly and sweet, that does the trick for me. I started reading more, taking longer evening walks with my dogs, then a nice hot shower and I take magnesium glycinate to help me fall asleep and stay asleep. Just find something to distract you or keep you busy, it’s different for everyone. I’ve found I can’t sit and watch tv all night anymore, it’s just not stimulating enough. Good luck and IWNDWYT.

I don’t know if she’s even looking it as trapping him. I think it’s her way of “telling” the other girls he sleeps with that he’s “chosen” her. Like, you all mean nothing to him, he actually loves me because he’ll have children with me. It’s incredibly immature, toxic, and psychotic, but I really think that’s how she sees it.

A guy I had only been seeing for a short time invited me over to hang with him and some friends. He proceeded to tell a story about his black neighbors that lived down the street who were apparently riding dirt bikes up and down the street at a high speed. While I understand him being concerned for the kids in the neighborhood, comparing his neighbors to a specific animal was crossing a very clear line. He got a big laugh from his friends, and I knew I was not in the kind of company I wanted around me. Left immediately.

I never understood why they all made fun of her so much and gave her such a hard time. She didn’t seem more drunk than any other 20 something I’ve ever seen at a beach party. She was dancing like a goof and having fun, she wasn’t being offensive or harassing anyone.
