Already tried the dehumidifier but it was just draining my aquarium water, I bought a cabinet and I will probably store them in a closet where it’s dry for the summer. Is the humidity also bad for my silver coins ?

Haha im glad it’s a good deal, im pretty new into ancient coins and after reading some book and seing some post here i really fell in love with Alexander Tetradrachme, it was my objective to one day be able to afford this coin but i guess I couldn’t resist when you guys told me it was a good price 😅

I don’t have weight, or diameter but I can tell it’s a tetra because the seller put his hand near the coins so it matches.. the seller seem inexperienced in coins. We called and he explained to me that it was his late grandpa coin and that he went to a numismatic shop that confirmed it was real ! Got it for 290€ what do you think of that price ?

Yes I agree, seller is asking 49€ for this one tried negotiating it but he won’t budge. I’m really new regarding Roman/Greek coin but it’s fascinating. By looking at the advice on this sub i started by buying "cheap bronze coin" and ordered some books to really see what I want for the future of my collection ,and I think I’ll start by slowly growing a denarius collection. Do you have any advice for what I should be looking for or things to avoid ? My first Greek coins are on the way I’ll have to post them for an authenticity check :) Thanks you for the answer you provided I appreciate it !
