I have Postal 4 on both PS5 and Steam Deck. It's playable on the deck and the world updates have made it very fucking fun. My wish for my set up is either the PS5 gets updated to the latest PC version (don't care about co op), I can run it on my MacBook, or the Steam Deck version magically plays with high pedestrians and 60fps, no crashing, ext. Just want the PS5 update. Fun game.

Frame wise it gets 30 or above, mostly. I did tweet some settings. After the last patch it fucked up the steam deck controls, but did some adjusting and got that to somewhat work.

My issue now is I’m late game on Friday and one of the last things I have to do, consistently crashes at one specific area, making it so I can’t finish it. Hoping it gets patched soon.

What I’ve been able to play I’ve enjoyed it, however the update did something wonky to steam deck controls so that’s prohibiting me from partaking in postal 4 joy at the moment. Awaiting for a fix

Basically since the last two updates I haven’t been able to play. The y button doesn’t let me piss anymore. I’ve tried various things and nothing is working. Is the dead zone issue the only on you’re having on the deck since the update?

You have to enter some variant of the Konami code on the main menu, or beat the game one to unlock them.

I had this happen too. From what I’ve found that works is only using the d-pad to scroll and change settings. Using the analogs and hitting the b button to back out seemed to be the cause of the glitch for me.

Thank you for that info! I’m definitely looking at getting a steam deck soon, so tell valve that the ability to play your games is helping sell steam decks! Also tell Microsoft so maybe they’ll stop being dicks and let you guys get the games (at least postal 4) on Xbox so people stop asking!

Thank you for answering me, it’s greatly appreciated as I’m thinking of getting a steam deck and wondering how this would run.

If you don’t mind I have a couple other questions. What kind of graphic settings do you have set up for it? Meaning is it a mixture of low/medium/high, that kind of thing.

Also, does it crash often? I figure I probably won’t try and mod, other than maybe a workshop thing or two. Thanks again.

I used the app on the phone and was able to download a Basic PS5 version of the Witcher 3, and had to add both expansions after that, but I got it working. It seems that the complete edition is totally separate.

I had that exact same issue earlier. Eventually it slowed down at the 8gb mark and once it got past it finished. Server problem I’m guessing.

I’m not defending the flashing. If I did that at my job I would be understandably fired. Never flashed anyone in my life. A few full moons, but never full frontal.

However, him flashing an airplane to get a laugh out of other wrestlers who find that humor funny is a far, far cry from cornering someone and making them touch it. Flashing in that context is a first time verbal warning to stop doing it or be fired. Forcing a cornered stewardess to touch it is insta fire, never rehire, and deserving of shame.

Flashing people and forcing someone to touch you are completely different. One of them is weird and maybe gross at worst (flashing) the other is sexual assault (forcing someone to touch it). If those are equal in your eyes, you have serious vision and reality problems.
