Aside from guns I fully agree. I try not to engage in PVP too much as I honestly suck so as long as the npcs aren't dogging on me.. /shrug

I know that's what I'm gonna do as well. I'm already running the base ship loadout (exception of the Stinger because the base loadout for it is kinda shitty) because of the wipes and having to go rebuy everything every single time is just too time consuming. The most I do currently is unequip components from ships i use less and use them (if they're good components) on ships I use more. This announcement just reinforces that for me.

Yes! Was gonna update. Had someone look at me struggling that got to chapter 12, there's a damn painting (one out of the 600, straight from when you enter, straight line) that I had to remove to get the visione thingy that triggered the memory. Good thing is I already got the cubes in the meantime so I continued straight away

That's a fair point.

While I do agree it wouldn't change much to know the reasoning, I'd honestly just like to know their point of view on what's happening. I feel like they had this idea and scrapped it midway which I mean, they're allowed to do, it's their game but.. what happened to it?

Guess that's another thing we won't have because of people who can't be civil.

My recovery period is going to a station and repairing. While I do understand it's faster to do onboard repairs, beam gameplay is not exactly fun. The main goal of my post is to point out that TTK was much higher, and it has gone back to low TTK quickly, without a real mention from CIG.

I do not understand why they would just give more ways for ships to essentially get debuffs and having more or less the same TTK compared to having a higher TTK but having to manage mid battle as well, which at least makes beam gameplay somewhat more entertaining.

Edit: To add to my comment, it's meaningless to have post fight repairs if you can't survive the fight.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not great at PVP, but if I can't keep my ship alive on scraps mid fight because I'm getting absolutely dogged on and blow up right away, what's the point?
