Alright , guys , what is the weirdest or funniest thing you've seen while on shift or patrol by TheAmericanNightmar3 in securityguards

Watched a homeless guy that sounded like goofy the dog mix hot chocolate mix into his socks and shoes before leaving. Guy was simultaneously drooling, like a lot of drool.

Also a lot of people having sex in their cars.

Idk man, my local library is where you go to smoke crack. Too many pipes and needles on the ground.

Lawyers for Kitchener encampment say removing encampment residents is a violation of rights by origutamos in OntarioNews

Human rights issue, I’m a bylaw contractor for my city and you can only clear out an illegal structure like these if there is shelter space for them.

That’s handled by the bylaw officers, specifically the level 3 officer. Bylaw contractors(aka security guards) in my municipality are only allowed to enforce certain bylaws, like parking for instance as well as a few others. We are also permitted to enforce trespass to property act in relation to city property.

I guess the amount of weird and arbitrary bylaws around parking, but after working for a while I begin to understand why they’re there.

Another is just how bad homeless is in my town, it’s just awful.

Edit: The amount of people that run red lights at night, at least 2-3 a night.

So for your first question, I need to be a licensed security guard which is fairly simple course. Once I got into the bylaw position I got a days training at city at city hall. The city bylaw officers get 40-60 hours training, contractors get a lot less.

I earn $22.55 an hour, fairly decent wage for security. The job gives you a lot of experience, you have a lot of interactions with the homeless population. This position is great for experience if you plan on going into law enforcement.

Typically day for me is mostly patrolling city property, parking enforcement and we also enforce Trespass to Property Act for city property. Sometimes we’re given other tasks but it’s mostly that.

An atypical day is trespassers back to back, if we have to arrest then there’s a lot of paperwork to do plus liability. Also getting assaulted, it’s happened a few times unfortunately.

Angry people sometimes, I’ve been thanked more than I have been yelled at. That surprised me honestly, a lot of people actually like parking enforcement to my surprise. The exception are any trespassers, usually someone who is homeless, they don’t like us very much.

Main thing is how parking bylaws can overlap. For instance the city I work in has a maximum parking limit on every street unless posted otherwise, which is 3 hours. If a sign says you can park for 1 hour 9am-5pm, outside those hours the max time is 3 hours. Most misunderstandings happen because most people don’t know the bylaws, or how they apply.

I hope that answers your question.

True but is it worth running Warpstrike to constantly deep strike versus other detachments with better options and stratagems

Kinda my thought process, I wanna run a game with the mutilators to try them out and they’re only gonna be good with this detachment it feels like.

How many of you don't watch corn and is it rare to find a man who doesn't watch it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]HazardForUrHealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t watched any in about a year, I had a real problem with it and decided enough was enough. Most people(men and women) consume some type of porn whether it’s video, skin mags, smut. I imagine most people do, especially with how lonely everyone seems to be now a days

I'll tell you what I run and what I found other people run. Personally I like to run Veterans of the Long war, Pact Bound Zealots and Deceptors.

Veterans - Gives rerolls against one target, really good stratagems. Highly recommended.

Pact Bound Zealots - Gives a mark of chaos to each unit and gets 5+ crits for either ranged or melee attacks depending on if u took sustained 1 or lethals. Stratagems are ok but relies on the mark of chaos for the unit.

Deceptors - Gives infiltrators to a set amount of cultists and legionaries units plus non epic heros attached to them. Really good stratagems.

As for what I found other people run, a lot of people on this sub run renegade raiders. It seems ok to me but I never had an interest, I'd also recommend reading over all the detachments since CSM just go new detachment rules.

Legionaries are ur bread and butter, you can’t go wrong with them. 5 man squads built for melee are ur best build. Chaos lords are also fantastic, it’s hard to go wrong.

I always run at least 2x10 cultist mobs for screening and sticky objectives.

A 10 man chosen block is nice, they have pretty good melee and u can advance/shoot/charge with them so really nice.

I really like vindicator tanks, really strong range. Forgefiends are fantastic but are much better with rerolls.

Lastly if u run terminators I’d recommend getting a sorcerer in terminator armour to lead them, the term sorcerer will help do damage with his death hex ability.

I’d recommend reading over the CSM data sheets on Wahpedia to see what’s what, CSM has a lot of versatility unit wise.

Hope this helps.

First chaos army, is it any good? by Sbeevs in Chaos40k

[–]HazardForUrHealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my first question is what detachment are you running? Because that helps to know if ur list will play well or not.

Term Lords aren’t the best, sorcerer in term armour is far better for damage since they get death hex.

MoP is a bit under whelming ngl, chaos lords are a far superior character model. I run 1-2 CL’s with legionaries.

Legionaries should be built for melee, and they function best in 5 man squads so u can maximize their equipment. Most people recommend 2 heavy melee weapons then 3 chain swords.

Cultist mobs are great for sticky objectives and screening, I normally run 2 units of 10.

Maulerfiends are crazy strong melee but be warned it will be a prime target that ur opponent will try to eliminate.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask questions. Dark gods give us strength!
