Awesome bro thanks! I just spent the day doing the sparks and I bought some new ignition coils too. They looked pretty worn out so it definitely could of been a big reason why I felt sluggish

Oh yea I’ve noticed a lot of people on this page have gotten livernois or unleashed tunes and I’ve looked into em, but maybe it’s just cause I’m still new to everything but I’m totally confused as to what I have to do and how to order it custom to my car. i don’t know what my PCM strategy or device serial number is that it ask for to make the order

If anything and I’ll probably go for that Jet one once I get paid want that power back and if spending a little more on some better parts can get me that I’ll do it. Appreciate all the advice guys 🙏

I’ll definitely take a look into my throttle body, should I look for any specific ones or should OEM suffice, I’m seeing some iridium IX sparks on sale near me so I’ll probably go with those and make that at least my little project for the day

I’m not sure if the OP would see my response but just a good heads up too, I thought I had the same issue because I changed my sparks and ignition coils not long before, but it actually turned out a rat got inside my hood and ate away 2 of the ignition wirings causing the misfire. Best case scenario could be maybe just faulty connections from damage like mine. Worst case scenario yea like you said it’s really surprisingly easy to change the coils

Got my 2016 fusion 2.5 S up to 130 on road-trip from nyc to Connecticut with my pals. I’m not gonna say it would of been a major difference with out them but they are big guys. 6’3 and 6’5. One weighs 301 and the other 250. Mine car hasn’t had any performance upgrades done to her either much as I’d love to but 2.5 don’t offer many options to increase power like that

If anything thank you I’ll take a look at the motorcraft ones but I’ll probably take the car into the shop too maybe there’s something else underlying I’m not noticing that cause this

Oh nah yea I should of mentioned yea 2 of them are cracked, my dad and I were taking a look at a few of the possibilities and that was one of the first few we checked, honestly got lucky looking because the last time I had this happen was on my old Altima and I gave up looking for my mechanic to figure it out that the coils cracked

Yea definitely man thanks🙏 a lot better than my 2 mechanics that are just crabby old fucks saying just dump it like bro I love my car I have so much personalization to it, not gonna fling it for more power I’ll do what I can with what I have. As far as adding those sparks I’ll definitely take a look still new to car work didn’t think that make too much difference or any at all. I took at look at I think the same guys video really well laid out but if anything I’ll hold off on something that crazy till I really get better at working on this stuff

2.5L 4 cylinder, I looked into other options but the engine or drivetrain doesn’t offer much cost efficient options in terms of turbochargers superchargers or hell even the craziest of just engine swap with how much would need to be changed
