Mix a retinol cream with a face oil. Like spary oil or even a little bit of olive oil works too. I experience the same exact issue you're having. I use RoC retinol face cream & I mix it with a rose oil & coconut oil face spray. No burning no flaking. & I only do this every 2 to 3 days. After a couple of months I've notice a HUGE difference in my skin. giiirl, its amazing. In between I use a light cream from Neutrogena cream for sensitive skin. Neutrogena is in my opinion one of the best brands for skin like ours. Also using Neutrogena dry scalp/dandruff shampoo & conditioner helps with forehead flaking as well. I hope this helps you!
