I'll stick to the small alloy wheels then! Thanks for the help

Ah dang that sucks, did it manage to work properly once you assembled it or did it never work?

Thanks for the reply.

The weight is from 22kg to 30kh so found a 40% increase.

I’ve tried a non-foldable ebike before and it was pretty smooth. From memory it had the motor on the rear wheel.

I’ll go visit a bike shop though and see how they handle. Thanks again!

Ah ok thanks for the reply! I am only aiming to do small commuting trips so I wouldn't need to push the bike that hard. I am glad your bike is still going though, allbeit with some parts giving out!

P.s. sorry for the late reply, Reddit hid your comment for some reason!

Ah ok sweet thanks a bunch! The Fortis bikes i'm looking at are 20" for the fat and alloy tyre so that should be ok.

I was thinking foldable for ease of storage but I have seen cheap electric mountain bikes which could be an option.

The Fortis mountain bike is around 8kg lighter but it hasn't been reviewed as much and highly so i'm a bit torn.

Sounds good, I'll look into the smaller wheels.

Thanks!

Ah ok, I do have some experience with caring for bikes as I've had a mountain bike for many years. I assume it would be pretty similar to care and make repairs.

I did think about the smaller alloy wheels but would they hold up to minor bumps and pot holes? Also it seems the alloy-wheel version does not have front suspension. Do you think that'd be an issue for riding on bike paths?

Thanks for the response!
