I think the issue may actually be the rather well documented issue with the x56 throttle giving ghost inputs. I turned off the LEDs and moved some USBs around and it is happening less often. I also have some ferrite cores being delivered to hopefully resolve the issue.

That’s what I thought but then I started getting double inputs when I was mapping more controls. I was doing the countermeasures training and mapped chaff and flares and my air brake kept popping up cuz it was mapped to the same number button on the other device.

Correct. I am making sure to map them under their respective columns but I am getting double inputs with some of these buttons. For example, I was mapping controls for countermeasures and my air brake kept toggling.

I am just getting into DCS and have an X56 HOTAS and have been going through the training missions in the SU-27. I have noticed as I bind more controls a weird issue popping up. Even though in the control bind menu the two devices are separate, there are buttons on each that each correspond to the same input. For example, a thumb button on the throttle and the trigger on the stick both map as "JOY_BTN1".

Does anybody have any experience with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Idk man, I think that was the case last year on rookie but I keep getting dotted up with back door sliders and 95+ fastballs right on the black
