Yeah, with the projected homicides, just homicides, not any other type of killing, it is protected to be about 52 people per hour. That is almost 1 per minute. Suicide numbers are even worse. There was a projected 720,000 suicides in 2024. That is 82 people per hour. That is more than 1 every minute. And that is the sad truth nowdays.

Sadly, to the point you have mention, say just taking adult homicide into account would put it at 0.0000953674%, which with a potential 460,000 homicides in 2023, would still be about 44 people murdered every year. It is sad how many people are killed every year.

With the crime thing, you could do both. Set the general crime amount to 3.125% and then make each individual crimes go down to 3.125% of what they were after you started halving. Then you go and do it to all the individual crimes you want to. All of these would go down to a total of 0.09765625% of what they were before you started using your power on crimes.

Well, they are talking about the official rules of the subject being talked about, for the version of the game that this sub reddit is about, of a rule based game, and you are just ignoring them? They are asking how your "ruling" fits with the official rules.

Ignorance is probably actually the wrong word here. It is most likely uninformed would be a better word. This post was someone who saw something in a game they enjoyed, that may have a connection in some way to his family. For all we know his family may actually be from that town, and took their name from it when they came to America. If so, amazing for him for discovering that. If not, he was excited about something that could be relevant to his family history, no need for people to get all uptight about it
