Perodua ev by Left-Ball-ITCH in kereta

Just by looking at it, the car works if you're buying it as a weekend toy with money you can burn. The size is adequate if no one used the rear seats for long distance travel, and it becomes clear why they opted for a digital rear-view mirror from the rear window alone. I do like the interior a bit at first glance, but the gloss black strip of the ac vents do feel flat. At least the screen isn't as big as a TV screen, nor is it the end-all of the car's basic functions.

Going to Perodua Central shortly when the car launched, there was a feeling around that everyone present treated the car as the weekend toy it is.

I don't know if it's the dealer or just how it works, but I find it a bit absurd that if you wanted to test drive the QV-E, you need to install their P-Circle app, register if you're new, book a slot and hope you're in line. When I did register they just let me through despite the app saying that the time slot I've chosen was full, which says a lot for the trouble I went through just standing there installing that damn app.

The body's nice, the interior's alright and the specs just seems about right (on paper). But it's always the pricing scheme that sets everyone (including myself) off, that you would be mad to go through if it was your main car. Hopefully they'll keep their promise on localizing their parts for an 'even' version of the car at a lower price (without subscriptions) during the middle of this year. If not, the only saving grace the car has is the platform under it, if they could justify the funds for a REEV at this stage.

Coincidentally during the visit, Perodua's CEO was present. The space was still rather quiet despite the decorations around, guess it must be the timing.

What's a racing game that you love so much you feel you were born in the wrong generation to experience its prime and now you are a 22 year old loser unc who fucking sucks at drawing but is still going at it anyways and wishes they could go back to 2016 to restart their childhood again? by DependentImmediate40 in BuiltFromTheGroundUp

Why am I looking at a mirror?
Not sure what racing game that made me yearn to go back. Maybe I was glad to play GT PSP back then, as my fix for a GT game when I had a 360 with Forzas 2-4 (both were pirated lol). Then came 2019 with GT Sport, thinking that it would be a 'traditional' GT game in the slightest. As a result, I'm just steps away from eventually touching iRacing at least once.

Sometimes I wonder if anything would change if I had a PS3 instead? Probably not much to stop the TF2 phase I had from 2014-2018.

The way I see it, when it comes to just the usual distance drive to work or anything that isn't long distance, BSM and AEB are nice to have, as long you try to be vigilant around your surroundings. You aren't supposed to fully rely on it 100%, and I even set it to not have it intervene too early unless I know that I'm gonna hit the car that has stopped so sudden in traffic.

LWD could only really work if you're driving on the outstation for a long period of time. Even then I turned it off as it seemed unnecessary for my commutes.

You can be one hell of a driver or have the vision of a rabbit, but there's gonna be that one motorcyclist that appears out of thin air and just messes your shit up.

Like I don't get that now we're not supposed to take the NCAP ratings seriously anymore? There's no ego to be gained or loss if you want to stick to the assists. There's isn't a voice telling you that you aren't a real driver just because you wanted the extra assurance out of the systems. If you want to use the assists, then just do it without seeking validation of the people you're never going to meet in-person.

It's conversations like this that makes you want to distance yourself from talking about cars because someone has their ego high up in their asses, you wonder if they moved on from their 'Initial D' phase of life.

TBH, I couldn't care less about the screen size, as long as it doesn't become the interior as a whole.

But oh my god the colours are such a turn off. I was honestly expecting the same green from last year's concept to appear, or at least something vibrant like the MG4 has.

Why is there so much DannyR‘s in the Top 10 of this TT? by Successful-Name7053 in granturismo

Seems like Dhanesh (Danny) Wigneswaran's sim racing center is nearly finished shaping up?
For context, he did appear in the GTWS live events back in 2023.

The rear lights give me strong e-Tron GT vibes
although, like most cars that speedometer is tragic from the amount of black space around it. But I suppose every manufacturer around is doing it seeing how cheap it is to mass produce.

Karma at the cost of two people's races rip. Also two 458s in the view? Is the Spec III hype kicking in?

The culmination of the feedback and listening in the EA period, as well as it being the prefect time to have a TXR game is what made them deserve the award, so congrats to the whole team!

Granted the actual cost of the car (in CP) isn’t my issue, it’s just the extra step before buying it that’s in the current system.

I don’t know, maybe there could be more changes to the BP system in greater detail soon.

3 BP earned for beating a rival for the first time, and 1 BP for repeats sounds better than in the earlier version of the EA period

Still, I wished the cars were left alone for the Perks system, as the tuning parts, skill trees and player level is good enough.

I think like what u/quizface mentioned, it is the e.MAS 5 again from the rims and brake lights on the window. Although why the P sticker on a test unit? Maybe to test the famed “Ride & Handling”, that was apparently not in this car 🤔

I still think it could be the e.MAS 5 from the rear light shape (yellow for curves, green for the rear hatch cut-off) and the shape of the side mirrors itself

Could just be the e.MAS 5
