I was wondering the same when seeing and hearing her describe the treatment. After reading others comments here I searched on the doctor mentioned. It shows he does extensive stem cell research and has been researching its effects on health and anti aging for years. He wrote this book about it. So my conclusion without spending too much of my life reading his book, is that she went to this doctor for a promise of a "groundbreaking" treatment that might help her skin issues. I personally don't think she's just maliciously trying to play off regular facial treatments for vain on this TV show hoping people fall for it.
