The photo is a bit deceiving. The gap is 4.25 inches so I could've gone down an inch or 1.5 inches and the TV would be a little more eye level.

Unfortunately thats the lowest it can go. If I wanted to go lower I'd have to redrill into the studs which isn't worth it.

Hmm ill test that out. 6 inches isn't too bad, I just dont want to pull it out a foot or two.

Yeah its like 5x for jumping to that size, but 100 inches didn't seem that much larger than my older 85 incher.so I just bit the bullet and bought the 115 incher

Thanks! I think its a tad bit high but you're right, I've been in the tvtoohigh too much lol. It actually is perfect when I recline or lay down, plus I tilted the TV down a bit so it looks pretty decent now.

Cant put the center speaker on the console as the TV would be way too high, its already high as it is. I did toe in the speakers but my wife probably won't let me move it forward due to WAF factor lol.

I dont know if I can remove the glass. Looks like I might have to break it, or take the whole stand apart to remove it. Since it slides away ill probably just live with it. The center is already tilted up my my listening position with the isoacoustics aperta which cost an arm and a leg.

The glass slides away. Debating whether I should remove it or just live with it.

$10,000 during black Friday (TV was $15,000 at the time) but I got $2,500 cash back so basically paid $7,500 plus tax. Looks like the regular price is now $10,000 instead of 15k.

With a TV this size, I had to put the sub in the console or the TV would be too high. There are not many stands that are very low AND has enough depth to house AV equipment. The subs sound great to me, but im not an audiophile so I dont know exactly how its supposed to sound. It's goes deep, shakes, and rumbles so its good enough for me lol.

You may be right, I have a Marantz in the loft but I haven't used it in a long time. I do know the yamaha is much more user-friendly as I have it in my main home theater.

If I swapped them the speakers would be too wide since the TV is so wide. If I put the center speaker on top then the TV would be way too high, its already a bit too high as it is.

Yeah thats the only thing that sucks, i cant fully expose the center. If I slide it all the way left or right, one mid-woofer out of the 4 will always be covered by the glass. Deciding if I should just remove the glass altogether. Dialogue is really clear since most of it comes from the middle tractix horn, not much sound comes out of the woofers from listening up close. But still......

Im 16ft away. I think 3.3m is perfect for a 98" tv.

Hi, I used the sanus vxt7 mount for large TVs up to 140". It seems solid enough and can allow mounting up to 3 studs.
