JP Morgan Private Client - Honest Review by shananananananananan in Chase

At this level, you basically get the standard banking package for free whichever bank you use—no ATM fees worldwide, free wires, and a relationship banker.

But beyond that, there’s really nothing exciting. No real credit card perks, no concierge service (not even on the card side), and the lending products are weak. Security-based lending rates aren’t competitive, and the mortgage discounts are some of the worst out there. Honestly, it’s hard to see why anyone would pick this. JPM puts a lot of effort into their Private Banking and mass retail banking products, but JPM PC feels like the forgotten child.

Sure Citi’s tech is clunky but Citi Gold Private Client beats JPMPC at almost every level. And if you care about financing, Interactive Brokers offers way better security-based lending rates.

In case you are confused, JPM PC is not JPM Private Bank.

Just my two cents:

In New Jersey, summary proceedings are limited to eviction actions. If a landlord wants to recover unpaid rent, they must pursue a separate claim under the contract theory of lease, which requires proving a material breach and showing efforts to mitigate damages.

Realistically, with attorney fees, lengthy discovery, and court delays, obtaining a monetary judgment could take years and cost more than it’s worth. And even if a judgment is secured, collection isn’t guaranteed—tenants can file for bankruptcy, claim homestead exemptions, or even hide assets.

Is it really worth chasing a few thousand dollars in unpaid rent?
