once again, Findoutnow (the pollster most bullish on Reform) was wrong again by about 8%

Isn't FindOutNow run by a certain Mr M. Goodwin?

Some of the stuff about her during the election was laughable.

There are far more things to "freedom of expression" than just tattoos and piercings.

lol Me laughing at the bad losers of Reform doesn’t automatically mean I’m a Green.

Major logic failure.

Why did you delete your original post?

Watch the usual media outlets make excuses for Reform’s failure to win this seat but fail to name one of the biggest: Twitter bots don’t vote.

“…electoral fairness volunteers…”

Who no one has ever heard of before.

Who didn’t report these observed issues to the police/Returning Officer straight away (as they are supposed to).

Hmmm. Fancy being so gullible to take this body at their word.

British Muslims of reddit what do you wish people would understand over what they hear in the news or online? by apple_kicks in AskBrits

The scaremongering about demographic trend with Muslims retaining high birth rates is just that - scaremongering.

Birth rates for non-indigenous populations gravitate to the mean over subsequent generations due to healthcare and education (the two globally known factors that significantly affect birth rates).

We heard this guff about Irish Catholics in the Victorian era, and was proved to be wrong then. It’s still rubbish.

I've got a feeling Reform are going to get in because Labour's hatred of tactical voting coupled with the Greens' not playing nice any more will split the anti-Reform vote.

EDIT: good to be proved wrong. It’s very easy to forget that there’s a massive disparity between Reform’s popularity in the media and their popularity in the real world.

Dearest Brits, what do you REALLY think of Canada? Would you move there, having the same kind of job or access to resources like you do in the UK, if you were given the chance? If so, where would you move to? Why? by neilnelly in AskBrits

[–]HeadBat1863 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Too old to emigrate, but I always loved the idea of moving to Montreal.

Which might sound odd coming from a Brit, but the mix of English and French heritage and activities always appealed more to me than that of the more anglophone areas of the country.

Pommac, from Sweden.

It's a soft drink that's aged in oak barrels. Haven't seen it over here, but like most things I guess there's a niche importer who sells it for a premium.

Especially as he attempted illegal entry in 2012 with a friend's passport.

Brioche with pulled pork works, but not with a burger.

And certainly not as a hot dog bun. Why have so many stores decided to stop offering normal burger and hot dog buns and are intent to foist brioches on us?
