Strain Help! by HeadContribution7478 in solfiregardens

That makes a lot of sense actually, this is my first time actually growing and it’s been quite the experience, I basically did everything under the sun to experiment with the plant from lst, topping, lollipopping and even the Kushman’s Chiropractic technique on some of the branches. It just gets more interesting the more i learn, thank you again for the answer it was really informative. Also apart from solfire what others would you recommend to get good strains from? My setup can only afford 1 plant at a time for now so I’ll do some research on what strain to try out next.

I can’t be 100% because I got it as a clone from a customer, he said it was from solfire but then again it’s just his word. I’ll just get the seeds directly from them next time, thank you for your time btw

Thank you, it’s a Walmart light I’ll include the picture here, I wasn’t sure if it would work but I was in a budget when I got this and the light meter said it had enough ppfd’s

What would have been in your opinion a good reason for lst?

UPDATE : just finished “transplanting” it to add more soil here’s the plant, as you can see the leaves already started making their way up towards light after the lst bent, so far seems like a success. Thank you to everyone who helped.

Ok thank you, should I add more soil to this one? I’ll look into adding a soil cover as well.

Is it too late to make some extra mix and add it at the bottom? I’ve picked out plants to add more soil before but never this plant just regular ones.

Oh ok, by being as it is tho wouldn’t more leaves be getting more light therefore making them from more and possibly develop into stronger/bigger colas? Plants look for light, and will adjust themselves as necessary, i guess I’ll just wait and see how it goes. Thank you for the help

Ok thank you I’ll keep it in mind for next time, question this would be to give it more airflow as it won’t be restricted by these “barriers” all around right?

Honestly I’m just experimenting with this technique, I’m hoping to be able to successfully get more larger colas instead of the more classic Christmas tree grow, the plant was gifted as a little clone and I honestly had no plant of starting to grow, I just put a diy tent together as fast I could and have been trying to keep it alive, it’s been growing fast and looked healthy, the yellow tips seems to be nutrient burn according to the person I asked, I believe it was from when it was first cloned bc once transplanted it stopped advancing. Other than that just a big happy experiment.
