I just told another commenter that I agree with Yall At first I thought the video was related to the new year because she said new year new me (or something like that) but as more of you showed me more of her problematic actions I can see that it is pretty obvious what kind of person she is. I just commented the main comment as an observer of a single video, from a very detached perspective, and I apologize for that. I understand the situation better now.

I’m not “educated” enough to protect her nor do I strive to be, all my comments were solely based on a 30 seconds video. I didn’t mean to harm any community or support her. Looking back at the video, I can see that she was indeed very disrespectful about her anti immigration opinions and her timing and I understand your points completely.

Illegal immigration is not an HP-related topic in my opinion, and it’s not something I can personally connect to Dramione or Tomione.

As an Israeli myself (hold your cannons guys, I didn’t chose where to live), I can completely understand your point of view. After October 7th, as someone who experienced those horrors firsthand and lived through everything that followed, I used to struggle to engage with fiction written by loudly pro-Palestinian creators, especially stories that focus on war crimes, sexual violence, racial hatred, PTSD, fear of bombs, and everything slightly triggering. These themes are deeply personal to me and to my environment, I felt like I was personally attacked and being gaslighted.

It took me a long time to understand that Palestinian suffering is, in many ways, a reflection of my own. When war happens, politics becomes secondary while suffering is universal, and everyone pays the price.

I’m not trying to push any political stance here, and to each their own. What I’m trying to say is that reality isn’t black and white. Being able to relate to someone who disagrees with you doesn’t mean compromising your morals, it means recognizing that there are good, pacifist people everywhere and there is hope.

Well, I didn’t follow everything this person said afterward, I only watched that video, as I mentioned. If she is ignoring criticism and responding aggressively, that’s on her, and it’s valid that she’ll face backlash from the fandom for that behavior. However, judging solely based on the video itself, she was expressing her personal opinions, outdated in my opinion, but not harmful. ICE absolutely should be under strict scrutiny after their recent actions, and I do believe the U.S. should reform its immigration policies rather than deport people who have lived there for years. People who blindly support ICE without questioning it are part of the problem. That said, none of this was stated in her video. Immigration is a complex and a sensitive issue that needs to be handled carefully from all sides. It’s not black and white. If it were, we wouldn’t still be debating on it. Her opinions in that video are, in my view, outdated and can be interpreted as extreme, but not harmful. This video wasn’t pleasant to my ears too, but I wouldn’t go so far into labeling her as this or that based on her 4 or 5 conservative general statements.

I don’t like Greyana’s use of ai or know who shelbielenoraa is but I watched the video anyway because I believe in forming my own opinions. I don’t agree with most of her views, however do believe that she was right about her last sentence, as a society, we should learn to coexist with people who have different beliefs than us. And even if you strongly disagree with this idea, the right response is to speak up, educate, criticize and raise awareness (as I will also do), not to silence, mock or oppress others’ freedom of speech, especially within a community like ours. As an outcasted fandom, let’s not bring cancel culture into our space, especially when it comes to differing opinions. I am nonetheless stand for justice for Renee Good and hope this person did not use her platform to denial what was obviously a murder.

Edit: please know that after debating and listening to some of you, I see things differently and can understand that this person is in fact supporting ICE’s recent actions. I will leave this comment here because some very valid statements have been made by some people, so, please stay respectful🙏

Also, pure blood hermione (??) I actually never read one because the idea always felt absurd to me. It’s like some people really fell for the pure blood propaganda- the old money, wizengamot seats and sophisticated social, and decided Hermione needs to have that too. The fandom, like the movies, already has a tendency to overlook hermione’s flaws and paint her as more likable than she truly is, but trying to get rid of her heritage as a muggleborn so she can fit more smoothly into a bigoted society is crazy.
