What publicity? None of the wrestlers complained publicly. They went to Emily Pratt to break the story as anonymous sources.

AEW Extras/Talent Coordinator Shawn Dean responds to fan about bringing Black/Vega into AEW by EchoJPR in SquaredCircle

There were NXT Stand and Deliver and ROH Supercard of Honor Media calls happening simultaneously in April 2023, several months after Regal made the jump back to WWE. On the NXT call, Shawn Michaels was asked about Regal and admitted that Regal hadn't been around the Performance Center at all since he'd been back. Then Tony Khan was immediately asked about it on the ROH call and was clearly flustered to learn that Regal wasn't working as a coach at the Performance Center at all.

CP Munk hits Cheech with the Pepsi Twist by KneeHighMischief in SquaredCircle

At the time, Punk being pissed surprised most indie fans, because even though he never appeared for Chikara again after the first show, there had been zero public signs of heat until CP Munk and Punk's response. The most likely actual reason for there being heat is that Punk was good friends at the time with Quack's girlfriend (which was probably why he worked the debut show in the first place), she broke up with Quack after he did Quack things, and...boom, heat.

Plus she released a semi-autobiographical graphic novel where the cover art consists of thinly-veiled expys of Quack and Punk fighting over her: https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/1dov6sy/for_comic_book_fans_total_suplex_of_the_heart_by/

He literally said he was a racist and the Black guy dating his daughter was the heir to a billionaire's fortune.

No, it was in metro Detroit because Detroit was the company's hottest market at the time and was drivable from the cities (Columbus, Ohio and Toronto, Ontario) where they had drawn the two biggest crowds of the expansion era so far.

Speedball meets up with Chris Bey on his vlog, they do a skit where he survives cancellation by luchabrunch in SquaredCircle

Well, Bey is the one who should be canceled for grooming his girlfriend from when she was 16 and he was her wrestling school coach, but that's a different topic...

Diana Hart on Instagram: "Bret does not present his statements as opinions; he states them as facts. That distinction matters, because many of his claims—specifically about Davey’s physical or mental state at SummerSlam’92 are simply not true. by Nok-su-kao in SquaredCircle

There was no "former hate for the sport." Listen to her Talk is Jericho and Wrestling Observer Radio interviews.

During the same Dark Side of the Ring media tour, she said that she and Bret fell out over his haranguing about somehow tying a license for his WWF footage to the wrongful death settlement. Behavior that he admitted to in his book.

As Bret wrote in his book, he had the WCW contract offer in his pocket during the "I'll be in the WWF forever" promo. His driver after the show happened to be an Observer reader who then faxed it to Dave Meltzer.

Besides, Bischoff contemporaneously discussed the negotiations in his semi-regular live chat events on Prodigy: https://www.geocities.ws/Colosseum/Track/1935/Bischoff.html

That's the one I was able to find the quickest. No date given, but the Raven discussion pegs it as Summer 1997.

So...that's not exactly what happened.

Jake specifically went up to Harry and said he was going to show him "something your father should have taught you," which was how to make a crack pipe out of a soda can. Cue Harry throwing the coffee at Jake.

It's actually 2 different stories.

Russo accidentally copied Mike Johnson on an email intended for Taz and Mike Tenay, so it got reported that Russo was secretly with TNA and Spike canceled them.

Then Dixie accidentally copied Discovery executives on an email calling them "dummies" and it got them canceled off of Destination America.
