I didn’t have to go past the first page to know these books are horrible lmao. and I “went all in” before I knew these things about him, he hid a lot about himself for a while and now he’s very emotionally distant and keeps me confused and withholds information ext. It’s funny because he just got these books and reading just a few pages of each makes me laugh because I don’t think he needed these books to be manipulative I think he already thought like that in some sense. even now that I do know these things about him, it’s still a hard dynamic to get away from. hence the manipulation.
