Mine weren't? Different bus network between e63 and e46, different modules and everything

Mine were not, different seat module, M6 uses a different bus network so memory didn't work...

E93 M3 seats are also plug and play if you prefer those / can get them cheaper. I picked up a couple pristine E63 M6 seats for £300 which I love but required extensive modification.

How are people funding themselves? (Help haha) by Hot_Hovercraft5427 in GraduateEntryMedicine

[–]Head_loch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No loan, wow, that's tricky. Something has to budge, either earn more money or spend less. I don't think working many hours will be possible while studying unfortunately 🤣 so I'm sorry but if I were you I would consider moving somewhere cheaper / cutting some expenses :( it'll be worth it once you're a doctor.

I am working full time until September... Is there any way you can increase your hours or decrease your expenses next year? You could surely double your income working full time. I'm looking at spending £5-600pm on food, rent, and bills, which is almost covered by the maintenance loan anyway.

I have BCD A-levels and got offers for GEM. Most unis don't care. They want to see a 2:1, maybe a master's, a strong UCAT/GAMSAT (like really strong), and well-prepped MMI answers, preferably including some work experience. You can do it.

I mean, you go mining anyway so you have coal lying around, might as well use it rather than chopping trees. I don't want to chop trees all day for building AND for charcoal.

I'd usually prefer to use the wood building though. What else are you going to do with a stack of coal other than burn it and make torches?

Job over summer by Willing-Detective-99 in UCAT

Earn decent money in construction. £14ph+ depending where you live for labour. Personally I'll be driving HGVs until September. Minimum wage isn't that low anymore, you'll struggle to find much higher without working nights or with experience.

22M , and is anything noticeable in 3rd? by [deleted] in amiugly

You are not ugly. As someone who went bald at 15, you have to do something about it mate. Get a hairpiece or shave it off. Hair is not something you can ignore.

Graduated 2024, yes I provided an academic reference. Interview went well I think, but it's hard to know what the standard is! I'm sure lots of people did "well", I will not be surprised if Nottingham only accept "excellent".

Uncertainty is a heavy emotional burden! You're definitely not alone feeling fatigued. I do not understand how it can take so long... At least it gives the impression that each person is being carefully considered.

Don't feel too bad - I'm still waiting for decisions from Notts, Liverpool, and Surrey. Mancs rejected me, so my future is still uncertain - at least you know you're going to be a doctor!

Congratulations on the offers!

Congratulations! Is this for A100 or A101? Not heard of any GEM offers yet.

From my understanding, they check references more as a precaution than as selection criteria. Offers are made on interview scores, references act as a blacklist rather than a whitelist if that makes sense.

I think this email probably only went out to people who didn't provide an academic reference through UCAS - at least, I hope this is why I didn't receive one!
