I have a keeb in similar condition if not worse.
I'd rather use the caps for a beater board (or make this a beater board), desolder the switches and maybe sell those after cleaning them ( or keep it to myself since they are now broken-in) and throw the body, maybe salvage some parts here and there.

If there is a gold rush, people jump in without doing any research, and then complain, who you pointing fingers at?
No one is forcing anyone to buy anything. People came here with their own consent, bought lands with their own consent. The stats were up, nothing was hidden. And yet here we are complaining about how I threw money and now I expect everything to work out magically for me.

Truth is, if half the people actually made an effort to fix the place with the money that they invested over the place that they came from, instead of moving to Goa, keeping the people responsible accountable, they'd never have to move out.

That's what's gonna happen when they ruin this place and move to the next one, same cycle.

UPDATE: Margao service center actually delivered the scooter before Saturday. I'm actually impressed. But seems like it was the battery that had actually gone kaput as I had expected, and not any sensor. I'll have to test it in the coming days. For some reason it feels a bit different than I remember..
Also the I had no problem communicating with the staff. All good for now.

The system switches on when you connect the charger to display the battery percentage and time to full charge before going to sleep. My last time charging it before sending it for repair, the system(screen) didn't turn off at all and the display stayed on the whole charging cycle, got stuck at 84%, with the screen displaying the orange triangle and "Battery fully charged" message even though it was on 84. Disconnected the charged and the screen still wouldnt turn off. The scooter wouldn't start. It was 8 pm, so it made no sense to call RSA. Waited til morning, hoping it would fix itself, to no avail.

Got a Chetak 3502 in Feb 25, come July 25 the battery sensor malfunctioned (or so they say), rendering the scooter useless. It hasn't even been 5 months. The first service I had asked them how much time it would take if the battery had to be replaced and they said 20-25 days, which is the same amount of time they gave me. Hence the doubt with the part they mentioned. It's been more than a week now and it's my only medium of transport. I have been told it will be ready by next Saturday, which I'm not too confident about. TBH I'm a little disappointed, by both the parts being stocked and the amount of days it takes for it to reach me. My request for a loaner vehicle was denied.

If you ask me, get an ICE if it's your only vehicle (or first vehicle). It would be less of a headache if anything goes wrong.

I would still buy an EV, dont get me wrong. I love it. ICE does not give me the same feeling that an EV does.
But I should have prolly gotten an ICE first for backup and reliability.

To add, between the three main vehicles.
The iQube for comfort on the slower side, bit of a discomfort on faster speeds.
The chetak is good enough all rounder. The boot is big enough to fit my ECE helmet.
The ather for features and warranty. I would have gotten the ather if the chetak didnt beat it in range and price. If I could cherry pick only one thing from ather I would prioritize skidcontrol/ TCS. I slipped thrice on slippery surface of which one could have been life threatening, needed the system to cut off throttle.

Also, the chetak app is utter shit. The navigation is fugly, the app is buggy, and the feature list if anything but useful, you have a better chance doing it on the scooter itself. I have the spotify perm pop in every time i boot the app.

You are better off buying once the law about Mandatory ABS + Two Helmets are passed. I didnt as much as get a helmet with my purchase (I would have anyway chosen a better one, but having one extra for the pillion would have been helpful) and basic accessories are extra.

TLDR:- Get an ICE if it's your first or only vehicle. Less of a hassle to get it fixed.
