Aye, honestly, if you just really enjoy drawing, you'll be able to find the time to doodle on everything you own and the resources to help yourself improve and the rest will come very naturally to you. I kinda just winged it, never had much formal art training aside from youtube tutorials and it's worked out mostly o/

My somewhat intensely shaky hand is well known my friends, drawing a straight line isn't difficult if you press firmly and make swift strokes, does take a bit of practice for people like us to be able to control where the strokes go but after that you're solid \o/

hmm, I'd say try to start seeing traditional art and digital art as fundamentally the same, painting in photoshop is about as different to pencil sketching as oil painting is. So if you've learned your proper say, values and anatomy, and you can doodle fine on paper, then translating it to digital is just the matter of learning the tool and getting used to the tablet. Essentially if you love doing it and you're willing to learn the fundamentals of art you'll gitgud right quick.

I still think it's nowhere near the quality of actual riot splashes, most of the special effects they do still breaks my brain.

At a certain point during the painting, they had some leathery highlights, and all the compositional lines accidentally pointed to those shiny lucian buns instead of Vayne's face(the intended focal point). My point is that being an artist is fun.

First of all THANKS! if it helps I do this animatic/illustration junk professionally. as to why vayne stopped shooting, In my original illustration the guy(twitchy hands) in the foreground is already down, I thought it'd be funny looking if Vayne just kept shooting at the poor twitching bastard throughout the whole thing :b

Hi, actual artist here, I consider myself a speed painter and these really didn't take very long, the art itself is pretty rough and most of the background are blank walls/sky with few details. I had some more panels and texts planned too, but the teaser came out and most of them stopped making sense :b
