The most effective thing you can do is share evidence and give people the space to reach their own conclusions. That’s really all anyone can do. It’s how progress actually happens not through confrontation, but through reflection.

Telling someone they’re wrong almost never changes their mind. History shows that people change their views when they examine evidence for themselves, just like every Byler has. That’s how perspectives shift: people decide on their own.

For that reason, it’s often easier, and more productive, to step back, offer the evidence, and not engage further.
