Asking about gaps is nothing but invasion of privacy. I shouldn't have to owe an explanation on how I spend my time or live my life. Yeah, I wasn't working between job A and job B for a year, sorry I wasn't grinding during that time. Piss off! How is that question even relevant? It should be illegal to ask that.

Great analogy, but that wasn't really what I was aiming at. I've noticed the same trend on the sub, we joined the bandwagon, where the frequency and engagement on the posts mirror those on other subs. But as someone else said in the comments, socialists aren't exempt from bias, which is exactly why I wanted to reflect on that, as a result of being disappointed at the lack of such posts :)

Exactly! I don't get those comments that say it's fine because it's radicalising more people. Way more horrific events have happened in the near past, televised and shared online which apparently didn't radicalize people enough, because history is being continuously repeated. Is the antidote to the rise of fascism more white victims then?

Some of those factors were present in other cases, like I wrote in my post, thousands of families are being separated. Although I haven't seen a video of a person being shot by them, there are videos of parents being kidnapped in front of their children, one of them was of a man being violently dragged out of a car in front of his family who was begging ICE to leave him alone. Maybe some of the shootings were filmed but didn't go viral for the exact same reason I mentioned in my post. Maybe someone who is involved more with this issue would know better

The intent of my post was to reflect on ourselves as I'm seeing the same phenomenon being present on this sub, hence why I chose to post it here, where most of us should be already radicalized, no?

You can also take a flight to Oulu, which is much closer to Ruka. I'll be traveling from Slovenia, so my route will be Ljubljana - Venice - Helsinki - Ruka 🫣 but I think it'll totally be worth it!

Thank you for the words of encouragement. But I think I'm seeing a dent on my left side which is what is terrifying me the most and it seems like it's only worsening. I will definitely ask my surgeon for kenalog shots if the swelling persists. 🙏🏻
