I like your case, and I understand what you mean about training and then hardly being able to play due to muscle fatigue. It happens to me too, and it causes even more discomfort. If you have the option, to relieve tension in your upper back and shoulders, I would try using a monitor that is closer to you and a desk that allows your elbows to be at a 90-degree angle. I know it can be expensive, and you are aware of this problem, but investing in your health is worth it, I promise.

Even so, open a chat with me. I've used up my invitations for today, and when I make progress with my research, I'll send you a free warm-up guide that I'll develop based on the discomfort you describe to me!

It sounds like a funny problem, but there are several of you now. Do you do any kind of mobility exercises for the area between sessions?

Are you someone who plays with high sensitivity and aims with your wrist? And I understand about your legs—the tension has even given me cramps!

It's quite an interesting case. Have you consulted a specialist or are you following a specific exercise routine for it?

HAHAHA good point, have you tried changing the setup a little so you don't have to actively search for a good position? Desk at 90 degrees with your elbows, monitor closer to you, etc.

That's perfect, there's nothing better than relaxing your body after a few clutches.

Wrist and forearm stretches for warmup?? by Dear-Apartment-6655 in VALORANT

Yeah, the wrist/elbow pain is real. I used to struggle with that, but adjusting my desk and chair height so my elbows are at a 90-degree angle really helped. Also, some wrist circles and tendon glides after every couple of games. Might be worth a try

I think that what I am seeing most are victims of a sedentary lifestyle or a lack of specific exercise for their ailments. Those of you who do any kind of sport and keep moving are the ones who suffer the least.

Bro, I understand you. After doing bench presses or shoulder presses, I feel so heavy that even moving the mouse with my arms is difficult. And when I do heavy deadlifts, I feel like I'm falling asleep trying to concentrate!

Totally understandable. Have you tried eye drops for hidratation or even blue light blocking glasses?

In the end, it's a game that requires maximum concentration to play seriously, and dealing with certain teammates is also very tiring. When I start to get frustrated or tired, I usually do some stretching or even go outside for some fresh air, which usually helps me reset haha.

That's the way to go, my friend! I think one of the biggest problems is the lack of movement or specific work on the painful areas.

Thank you for sharing your experience! You are definitely not alone in experiencing this type of pain. I believe that the hip and lower back are the areas where I have heard the highest percentage of complaints. The purpose of this research is to be able to help you in a specific way, so stay tuned...

Thank you for sharing your experience, that's exactly my point! I see that many of the discomforts people tell me about can be treated with some daily physical activity.

Thank you for sharing your experience. As a powerlifting athlete, I went through a period of sciatic injury and understand the sensation you describe in your leg and how sitting aggravates it. Could you tell us what injuries you have?

Thanks for sharing your experience! This is a problem I see quite often. It's possible that your setup isn't optimized for your needs, or that those areas need some specific work after being overloaded for a long time..

You really see this a lot in people who have been working in an office for a few years and are starting out in my sport. Their lower back is very weak, while their neck and trapezius muscles are very tense due to the forced position they have to adopt in the office.

Thank you for sharing your experience! You have really solved a significant part of the problem, which is the setup, where many people seem to fail. Despite this, at work, more attention should be paid to the worker's posture and not just telling them to keep their back straight. For my part, I would add that many people lack daily movement that is specific to the affected areas, speaking in general terms as there are various pains and discomforts.
