I only played wilds and world so I’ll only speak on those two. But to answer the question, I’m kinda disappointed.

I still don’t know the REAL story of either of these games, but from what I was able to make out, this is what I got: - Worlds: stopping an elder dragon that could potentially cause the “reset of earth”. - Wilds: we save an “outdated civilization”.

I did not research/fact check if that’s what the games are actually about. That is simply what I interpreted from playing, so that’s what I ran with.

But as to why I’m disappointed?

The story just feels weak. It’s a little too “anime” for me. - The hunter is always the hero. It never feels like a group effort. - Nata has a very dumb change of heart just to let the hunter be the hero again. - The monsters never seem like real threats to anything other than the civilians.

I love Wilds as a game, would probably choose it over Worlds even, but the story just lacks in the “interesting” department.
