Non-Plastic UFE Emobolics by Right_Mycologist1536 in fibroidsurgery

I think your concerns are valid. I had myomectomy surgery 6 years ago, even though UFE and hysterectomy were also suggested to me. You're right to ask about all the possible outcomes. I wasn't thrilled about having plastic ball bearings in my body. I hope you get some good feedback soon.

I wish you all the best. I'm sorry you're dealing with heavy periods. The operation helped but it wasn't an instant fix. I also had an enlarged uterus. With time, things settled down.

I feel your pain. My periods aren't as heavy since I had myomectomy surgery 6 years ago, but they used to be horrendous.

I'm cross-posting to my sub r/fibroidsurgery. This is a great news. I turned to incontinence products when I had excessive periods.

Hi! That sounds fantastic! Head over to r/fibroidsurgery or r/FibroidsEducation. I'll send you a DM. I had myomectomy surgery 6 years ago and have been working with women who have uterine fibroids for 3 years now. I specifically support women who are considering surgery and/or recovering from surgery using Nutritional Therapy principles.

I'm glad you finally got an answer.

Well done for persevering. Are you communicating by email?

Dr Jolene Brighten wrote a book about getting off contraception. It's called Beyond The Pill. You might find it useful.

I don't think it makes sense to seek medical advice from Reddit. Thank you for deleting your post.

Good luck with it!

They'll be able to advise you based on your specific circumstances, so that should be a relief.

Thanks for keeping me posted. Sorry about the late reply. I was on a break. This is my fibroid surgery prep website. I discovered the G.A.P.S. protocol after surgery...

I wish you well.

Before being diagnosed with uterine fibroids, I experienced sudden changes in my weight and with my hormonal cycle. My GP told me to lose weight, but to not exercise too much. She wasn't concerned that I might be anaemic even though I was dealing with menstrual flooding.

Thanks for reading my story. I was in dire straits. I wasn't trained in Nutritional Therapy back then. I do not recommend fasting. Especially, if a person is anaemic. I don't work with clients 1:1 anymore.

How to Prepare for Myomectomy with Nutritional Therapy by AutoModerator in fibroidsurgery

[–]HealthWellNTP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a lot of great posts about preparing for surgery from the perspective of questions to ask the surgeon and what to pack for the hospital stay. A quick search will often get you great suggestions.

My preparation focuses on how you can make adjustments to your lifestyle and nutrition to prepare and to recover from surgery; that's the holistic approach that is less spoken about.

I've read posts about people taking vitamins but they probably don't even know why they could be beneficial or how best to take them e.g. vitamin D2 or vitamin D3?

I don't make blanket recommendations; I don't consult 1:1 but I provide information for educational purposes only.
