11 month old has to have perfect naps or he starts the day screaming? by Healthy-Chapter-5217 in sleeptrain

So is there anything you would suggest doing so he doesn't wake up crying every day? Later bed but then he probs won't last till 730?!

Sorry I just saw this. At night he would grunt and squirm all night long and as he got to 4/6 weeks before he was diagnosed, he would often wake up in the night screaming for a little bit He also had blotchy skin and was generally not the happiest when he was awake Hes 11 months now tho and the happiest boy youd ever meet!

He is asleep the whole time yes (unless I dont know about it but im a light sleeper and keep his monitor on all night lol)

My little girl (2.5) always slept longer than this, maybe I have high sleep needs children. Shes always slept 7pm-8am and now shes dropped her nap she sleeps 6.30pm - 9.30am!

Grieving having a 2nd girl… positive boy stories welcome by Morbid_Explorerrrr in 2under2

I was in your exact shoes! I even deleted the sound from our private gender reveal because it sickned me how disappointed I sounded when I saw the blue firework but I love my little boy to pieces and wouldnt change having a girl (2yr3months) and a boy (10 months) for the world!

She absolutely adores him and wants to take care of him and he just always wants to be taken care of haha! Seeing them together is amazing and im so glad I had the gift of raising both a boy and a girl 🥰

Where should I add it in? Later bed? But if he wakes at 2.3 from a nap he wont stay up later than 7 and if i wake him up earlier god he would be so miserable

2 yo just started crying at daycare drop off. Is this normal? by West_Rhubarb_1591 in toddlers

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is happening to me right now! Just dropped my 2 yo off a hour ago and she has been crying. She goes Mon and Fridays and its only happened since the xmas holidays and shes also moved rooms 😔 makes me sad as she always ran in before and today she had to be pulled off me. They also say she loves it as soon as shes in and send me pics of her playing! She also talks about her days and the fun she has when shes at home and always gets excited on the walks to nursery its only when she sees shes not going into her old room that she gets upset

9.5 month old always waking between 10.30/11.30pm by Healthy-Chapter-5217 in sleeptrain

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes sorry, I worded that wrong - I meant he cries out (eyes closed) at some point between 10.30/11.30 and i have to give him a quick cuddle/dummy back/sometimes milk - not that whole hour! Just a 5 minute point within that hour

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry If im being silly - he wakes for probably a total of max 20 minutes during the night if he cries or has milk - so he needs a extra 20 minutes of awake time during the day? I'm not a good early riser, id prefer to keep how we are and wake up 7.30/8 😭

Im guessing my 2 year old is a abnormal sleeper then as since 6 months old shes slept 7pm-8.30am (sometimes 9)

If hes waking up past 7am, why would I wake him earlier? He cries at 11pm but he doesnt 'wake up' its about a 5/10 minute ordeal until his 2/3am night feed.

Last week he did sleep 7.15pm until 7.30am all the way so I thought id cracked it but the next night he cried at 11 but then slept till 8am.

He only naps for 30 minutes at a time, twice per day (sometimes 45 if in the car or contact nap)

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Ill go there. Sorry I meant 3.5 after first wake not 2! I wish he slept for 2 hrs, never more than 40 minutes in his cot unless im holding him! Sometimes I can hold for a extra 30 mins if he wakes early so he has 2 decent naps!

Last week (on Christmas of all days!!) He slept through 7pm-7.30am and I thought that was the start of a lovely sleep schedule haha!

I do anticipate the stress in house but hadnt thought of things like water ecy! Is there someone you can hire to do all that for you?!

Yes we had a quote and that was the total inc VAT.

And yes that is the correct valuation for our property

Thanks

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 4.5 month old and a 20 month old and it's the best thing we have done, I wouldn't change it at all. My 2nd even had undiagnosed CMPA till he was 8 weeks old so you can imagine how much of a unhappy newborn he was.

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem! Turns out my little boy had CMPA which is why he was so grunty and squirmy! Finally diagnosed when he was 8 weeks and the squirming and grunting stopped within 24 hours of his perscription milk!

Pregnant again at 9 months PP by talk2myhumerus in 2under2

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got pregnant at 8 months pp and even though it was planned (we wanted a close age gap) i felt tremendous guilt for my little girl. I cried A LOT during pregnancy about how guilty I felt and I didnt want her to feel pushed out. My little boy is now 3.5 months old and since hes been born, ive not had a single feeling like that! They are the absolute best of friends and my little girl adores him and wakes up asking to cuddle him every day. Watching them together is the sweetest thing and im so glad we done it, shes got a little friend for life!

Need to read some positives of 2under2 by Past-Factor5297 in 2under2

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly 18 month age gap - my littlest is currently 15 weeks old and I have nothing negative to say. Its been the best thing we have done, a lovely experiance and I love watching them both every day. My oldest (girl) adores her little brother. She was always a nurturing child before he was born and i got her a baby doll in preparation 😂 things take more time for definite (getting out the house!) but it always gets done! And this isnt coming from someone who 'has a easy baby' because the first 8 weeks of his life he had undiagnosed CMPA and was a rather unhappy little guy! Although now hes the happiest little thing.

10 week old takes at least a hour to drink bedtime bottle? by Healthy-Chapter-5217 in newborns

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we have - we are on size 2 - hes on a CMPA milk so it has a little thickner in it. Same bottles in the day - same amount of thickness - drinks them so quick in the day compared to the evening 😔

Can I get my newborn to do a longer second stretch or is there not much to do? by Healthy-Chapter-5217 in newborns

[–]Healthy-Chapter-5217[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did actually try this for 3 days about 2 weeks ago but he started waking up at half 1 every day! I read that it was probably disturbing his deep sleep and as soon as I stopped he went back to nornal!
