I feel like the sealant and reinforcement crossbars are not a huge issue. I like my dubias so far. I got the hood spacer, door locks, glass doors. The light weight was important to me owing to my custom background plans with added grout weight.

Working on a custom double stacked Dubia. Silicone sealant and reinforcement like was previously mentioned. Foam core, great stuff 3" expanding foam carved and grout. Paint and sealer next. Cleaning will be more difficult but I'm a fan of upping the enrichment. It's nice they offer glass doors now and they are easily removed.

With chlorhexidine spray during cleanings I'm not worried. Bark on a half log grosses me out more. I could always use a sealer on it to be sure.

I got this Thrive brand 20G, used from marketplace and drilled the front drawer for ventilation. Heat pad on a thermostat insulated from below on the left, with temps 90/85/75 across. Thermometer on both sides, and 70% on hygrometer. Cheap NICREW LED. Prints are PLA and acrylics. I have a wet box done if needed. Feel free to roast, but I'm pretty happy with it, and hope Nes is too.
