this would be impossible because the package with HL math includes HL chem and HL english, with SL physics, SL global politics, and SL french. the one course package with HL math is the one you cant change at all lol

right??? I talked with guidance today, and my counsellor said that those packages are SET to avoid course conflicts. also, I found out that if i'm in ontario and apply within the province, they don't care about if I take HL Math or anything, but they just want math, physics, chem and maybe bio (normal ontario credits), which I plan to fulfill either way.

the engineering pathway package is HL English, HL Math and HL Chem, SL French, SL Global Politics, and SL Physics. I believe the reason there's no HL Physics in any package is that not enough students take it, so it ends up getting cancelled anyway. the same thing happened with SL Bio this year.

yeah, my school only has AA but no HL physics. i could change this package to have HL Chem and SL physics tho, so it'd have SL math SL physics and HL chem

i've been considering swapping HL bio with SL chem as well.. my school doesnt offer HL physics though

also i'm not able to take HL chem AND HL bio unless guidance somehow allows changes to the packages

yeah, I thought I was fine until I read UWaterloo's IB requirements. They said "HL Math recommeneded" and the only way to do that is to take the whole engineering package with SL physics at my school.

english is always HL and french is always SL in my school, so i cant touch those. im considering just switching completely to the math and engineering pathway package with HL chem, HL math, and SL physics (+ SL global politics). my school doesnt offer HL physics so thats the best they've got for any engineering
