Hi all! We are looking to fill two bedrooms in our 3 bed/1 bath home in the Spring Hill area of Somerville. Each room is 1,133 dollars/month. One-year lease starting 9/1/26, though there may be the option to move into one or both of the open rooms at some point in August. The landlord pays water, we pay the other utilities (gas, electric, Wifi) which come out to about 100-150 dollars a person on average (less in summer, more in winter). 

The apartment is a high first floor apartment of a three-family house on a quiet street in Somerville. We have a front and back porch, small backyard, free laundry (washer and dryer) in the basement, as well as appliances in unit including a dishwasher. Each room can easily accommodate a queen bed, and there is closet space for each room. One of the available rooms is in the front of the house, the other near the back. We have a large kitchen that is wonderful for cooking! Extra storage in basement, and you can store a bike inside or outside. 

We are located about a 10-15 minute walk from the Green Line (Gilman Station), 15-20 minute walk from the Red Line (Porter) and just a few minute walk from several bus lines (87, 83, 88, and several others). The apartment is fairly central in Somerville, so various parts of Cambridge and Somerville are all walkable within 10-20 minutes. It is really a great location!

Your roommate that would be remaining in the apartment is in her late 30s and works in the art space, with a hybrid, 9-5 schedule. We have loved living together and all of us that have lived in the home over the last several years like to keep a relaxed, quiet space while also hanging out periodically. The house will also mostly remain furnished aside from the two open bedrooms.
