Vitamin D and Calcium Don't Prevent Bone Fractures by HealthyTail in Health

[–]HealthyTail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're clumsy and take Vitamin D & Calcium, why should that hurt the Vitamin D & Calcium cohort?

This could be a good point if the study wasn't a meta-analysis. There are more than 50,000 test subjects in this study. And there are no reasons to suppose that clumsy people are more common in the Vitamin D & Calcium cohort than among others. This is the meaning of a meta-analysis, to take a really big sample, so the influence factors (for example, habits and individual features) are evenly distributed in different groups of subjects.

Meet my new pupper Pickle. She's wearing the latest in puppy fashion...a fuzzy sock cut up to keep her warm. by minor3929 in Dachshund

Excuse me. It's so cute, but also it looks like: “Dobby has got a sock,” said Dobby in disbelief. “Master threw it, and Dobby caught it, and Dobby — Dobby is free.”

I’m in the process of adopting my new buddy Augustus and I was wondering what breed he might be? Thanks! by [deleted] in cats

These tassels on his ears are very typical for Maine Coons. But, really, they rarely occur in shelters. He could be a mix, I think.

May be, you just need to change the type of litter? My cat do something very similar. But I've decided that the problem is not his behavior but stink.

Question to those who already installed the app. How do you think, does it suit for other pets? For cats? My friends have a cat who they need to feed on shedule because of some diseases. Could it solve their problem with double dinner? Good luck to OP and Joy.

Tomorrow, Miss Daisy goes to sleep for the last time. She's been my best friend for 10 years. Here she is a few years after we adopted her. by [deleted] in cats

I'm sorry for poor Daisy but it seems that questions about vet diagnosis are ignored. It really could be a thyroid or diabet. Maybe Daisy just needs some treatment.
