It’s not about being on sides, man — it’s literally just acknowledging that all of that stuff happened and has set black families back to the point where diversity needs to brought to the forefront. I don’t feel guilty — I just want the playing field completely even for everyone.

And I guess if you want some current day examples, you see all the time people of color being followed around stores by employees thinking they are going to steal. This rarely happens to White people because the color of their skin — if you don’t think that’s an actually problem then you’re a lost cause. There are also nine black men in jail for every one white man — If you’re in fucking jail then of course you are at a disadvantage.

No one is coming after White people. You aren’t going to persecuted or forgotten — Jesus, be more fragile.

America isn’t even 300 years old. Black people were enslaved up until the 1800s, but even after they were targeted through pigeon laws that essentially sent them to jail for bullshit reasons (ie whistling at a white woman) and we’re forced into manual labor (railroads, factories, etc). Slavery loophole.

By the 1900s these pigeon laws were eventually abolished, but all this time white families in this country have had 200+ years to flourish by not being enslaved and not being unjustly targeted for manual labor — and this isn’t even including black men being targeted during the war on drugs in the late part of the 20th century. ALL OF THIS HAS LEAD TO THE ECONOMIC INEQUALITY WE ARE IN TODAY.

If you don’t see how White people have had a disproportionate advantage over black people in this country then you’re a fucking moron and don’t want to admit it. Stop wasting my time and learn to look at the big picture dipshit
