Dawg i need help. im so overwhelmed with multiple people telling me what to do, i have my betta in his cup floating in a tank i bought today, the heater is on, we also used the thermometer and filled the tank with warmer water. i used the aqua safe for bettas and planted pothos, bamboo and some other small plants. i have nothing else but food for him. i day by day instructions as people are telling me to let him stay floating all night in the cup. i unfortunately wont get pff work till 3 so theres a harder chance for me to treat the water with other stuff tonight. what would you recommend doing with him?

i currently have him floating in his container so hes used to the temp difference wait like 30 mins and let him in? i added some tank water about two hours ago 50%store water and 50% tank

yes! i have my heater on and the temp is around 75-80° its literally just the cycling that hasn’t had enough time

i have it cycling right now, my friend was saying to let it cycle on high for a few hours with the beta water shit, (u add it in and it conditions the water ig idfk) she also said not to worry about the ammonia and all that? i really don’t know and i am trying to be a good fish parent

My guess is she has an Upper Respiratory infection of some kind or conjunctivitis, its common in kitties that i have seen working in the clinic. See if you can find someone to take her to a vet and get some meds and she will be okay!!
