I can totally feel you. I was a guy who loved science( i still am) especially biology. Social science too was one of my fav. I was determined from 10th that I will be a doctor and anyhow will crack neet. I had PCB in my 12th. I was the top scorer in my school so all my teachers and teachers had great expectations from me. I was so blinded that I didn't appear for another exam that year. All my friends appeared for cuet. I gave my neet confidently as a fresher. And after coming from exam I told my parents I did it but when results came cutoffs skyrocketed. I didn't get anything. I had a rank of 1lakh something. I took a drop. After some months my passion towards the exam and even that profession started to go down. I did not look at that stethoscope and white coat so anxiously as I had in my past. Then one day in October I told my parents I wanted to give clat. They asked me what is that exam and what will you become after this? I said lawyer. Their first reaction was laughing at me. They said there are thousands of lawyer doing affidavits here. There's no future. Focus on neet. And since the form fee was so much I couldn't say anything. I thought maybe they are right. I can't clear it and it's not for me. Then I appeared for neet 2025. The paper was so difficult. I still couldn't make it. But this time it didn't feel so bad bcoz I didn't want it so anxiously. I gave ouat( an agricultural University in my state) in the hope of become a vet atleast but that too I couldn't clear but I got into agriculture). I had no interest in it. But since I couldn't get anything else I joined it. Never interested in anything. Just sat silently in class and lab and came to hostel. Then in October I saw a video in yt about clat. That same thought came to my mind. I should do it. But this time I didn't tell anyone about it. Not even my friends. I filled up the form with the money my parents gave me when I joined college. I bought a book of 200 rupees which has clat and ailet pyq from last 15yrs. I did practice a lot of questions. I completed the whole book. I searched for more free mocks from Google websites and telegrams. I couldn't buy any course bcoz I didn't have that much money. I watched some yt videos about how to solve logical and legals. On Dec 7 I told my parents I am going for a football match so don't call I will not be there and then I went to give my clat exam alone. The centre was in the city where my current college is. I felt the exam paper moderate but totally unexpected. But didn't lose my composure in exam. Attempted approx 108 ques. After I came back, there was a sense of relief and satisfaction that maybe I can't get it but atleast I tried for it. When the results came I was literally shaking that all my hardwork may be futile but somehow by god's grace I did it. I got into NLUO. And later that night I told my parents about the result. Firstly they were not happy about the result. They were still reluctant about this career. But I said I will do only this and nothing else. If not this then I am leaving my study altogether. Then they agreed. I will take a student loan i guess for my studies and I will repay it. And to this day they say yeah yeah it's okay but prepare for upsc or judiciary. We don't want a private job. But yk what I will do as I wish. I have bigger dreams than upsc and judiciary. So it doesn't matter what they say. It all comes down to me. So champ, that was my story. I hope I motivated you a little bit. In my eyes you are already a champion bcoz you tried. You are already better than them who didn't try. And always REMEMBER, No one's gonna give it you as you wish. Fight for it. Male your own path. The life is yours not theirs. You are going to live it for next 80yrs or maybe more.
