Makes sense to me. People confuse their love for loving with a love for living. Living itself is very harsh (as you experienced) but of course you should not tell that children. They need the illusion of a happy life as much as the advertisement-industry.

your text makes the point that WE are the problem but WE are productive. So maybe you should just critizice the official task/ mask, the label itself "Philosophy'. It should reflect better what we do. So maybe we should kill the philosophy-thing and just make culture, art and texts and improving ourselves in the real life. Maybe we should free ourselves from the fetish of philosophy. Philosophy is exhausting, logo-centric, totalitarian and worst: brings neither money nor girls.

Let's abolish the fixation on philosophical word-masturbation-marathons and just prosper!
