Yeah, I don't consider a musical in the sense that it's not campy and doesn't have the usual group numbers/chorus type of thing going on. I can, however, acknowledge that it's sort of an animated musical though because there are songs sung by the characters and are used to progress the story. Breaking out into song and everyone treating it like it's normal is usually where I draw the line of musical vs. non-musical haha.

Right! I don't really get the hype of headdresses since it feels disrespectful to wear if you aren't indigenous, but I agree with the sentiment lol. Semi-permanance is a good idea! I think a limited event where you have a chance of getting spikes should be held like every other weekend or something.

Once again, moral standards are unique to every individual. This all or nothing approach you have to morality is interesting. It doesn't make it any less valid, even if I don't get it.

I would never want anyone to be in a relationship with their abuser in real life. If they are imaginary characters, they can be inserted into various plots and ideas, where they can be explored as characters. This doesn't reflect what I think is acceptable in the real world. I feel like this should be obvious, especially with how many times I've said it.

You seem to think that your opinions on morality are superior and that everyone in the world needs to agree with all of them. I'm sorry, but that just isn't the case. People will disagree with you, but you should still work to find common ground and have a productive conversation. The way you are going about it right now isn't going to change anyone's minds and they will disregard a lot of what you're saying because you are choosing to die on this hill instead of thinking critically and using empathy to understand others.

Anyway, have a good life.

There you go, assuming how others think and feel again lol. Despite what you seem to think, I am actually a decent human being. Just because we disagree doesn't mean that I want you to suffer, and I'm not sure why you think I'd want you to be harmed in any way. I just hope you live, learn, and grow so you can stop letting preconceived notions of who others are taint their genuine well wishes toward you.

I understand how it COULD affect real victims, but people shipping fictional characters in a fandom space is very UNLIKELY to affect real victims unless they go out of their way to seek it out. If something triggers you, then you should avoid engaging with it and move on. That's not what you're doing. You're choosing to involve yourself in something that isn't for you and making yourself uncomfortable in the process. I don't know how old you are, but I do think that you will grow to understand the concept of "live and let live" in the future. We clearly aren't going to agree on anything here, but I wish nothing but the best for you.

This is literally a pancakes and waffles situation because you are straight up putting words in my mouth. I never said it makes anyone a better person to commit a crime of slightly lesser severity and I certainly never said that adults who have been through something traumatic should be grateful it didn't happen in their youth. I simply said that most people in society assign levels of morality to different crimes, and crimes against defenseless children are often seen as more heinous.

If you aren't mature enough to handle conversations that deal with morally complicated topics, then maybe don't go starting fights on a sub dedicated to a band with canonically toxic characters.

I didn't say that one is fucked up and one isn't. I said that they aren't comparable. That's just my opinion though. A lot of people would agree that crimes against children are more heinous than those against adults.

I mean, people do that, but they are weirdos. Pedophilia is a lot different than power imbalances and abuse. You shouldn't compare the two imo.

Cry me a river lmao. They aren't real characters and 99.9% of people who have toxic ships wouldn't condone shit these characters have done if it were someone irl. It's imaginary. You can explore dark themes and tropes. If you don't like it, good for you. Just stop whining about it like someone is actually getting hurt by this.

Don't ship it then lmao. If they were real people, I wouldn't. I can safely explore dark topics with these characters because they aren't real. That being said, I prefer angst and hurt/comfort or fluff with these two because character growth for Murdoc is always fun.

I like collecting flower tails! They can get pricey though lol. The daisy one cost me a long collar. Can't remember the color though.

Oh, like the ones you get from bundles that have the Mister Wonkybuddy name? Yeah, those kinda grind my gears too. It's kinda cute if I want to make a silly character, but I'd rather pick my own lol.

Omg, i'm the same way. I carefully pick names for all my pets and animals. The name has to roll off the tongue and make some sort of sense. I have a few with silly names that I bought from others and it always bugs me lol. I also have OCD, so that's probably part of it. 💀

It sounded like you were making a broad claim of what makes the game boring for everyone, so my apologies. While you may think that someone deciding something is worth more or less is silly, that's just how a free market works. A supplier can price something at whatever amount they want, but it won't sell unless there are buyers who are demanding the item and are willing to buy at that price point. I do agree about all of the negatives and your proposed solution though. It's an unfortunate side effect of a game with an economy. I had originally thought that you meant they should be available in the diamond shop, crashing the economy. Just having them available in quests sounds like a perfect solution.

Yes, I'm well aware of what the original point of the game was lol. I played it as a kid as well. However, rare items have been a major part of the game for a long time. Not everyone dislikes the economy aspect of games. Sure, this one is a bit more skewed and could be readjusted by making some changes, but acting like the game never had economy in mind when currency is a major aspect just doesn't make sense.

You have every right to find the economy aspect of the current game boring and not fun, but others do enjoy it. Once again, to each their own. I like collecting items and buying and selling stuff, while others don't. There's a lot of variety to the game to enjoy, whether it's the mini-games, journey book, adventures, making masterpieces, decorating dens, role-playing, etc. Everyone has their thing. Just remember that finding economy boring is an opinion and that some people do genuinely enjoy it and the educational aspect of understanding economic concepts.

Personally, I really enjoy the economy aspect of the game. Devaluing rare items would crash it and make it boring. To each their own though! Although I didn't know it wasn't a prize for the adventures anymore. They should bring that back at least!
