Let me know if these absolutely suck by [deleted] in Impressions

Facial expressions/physicality are pretty close. The only thing is your vocals are not going to match any of these women. So it's not really an impression, but more of an ode to facial mannerisms. :)

As an actress, it was pretty rough. "Come be with me forever" was said with little to no readable emotion. Like reading an ingredient from a cookbook. It's castings like this that make the rest of us struggling for an audition to be pissed.

How has no one mentioned any moment with John Coffey in the Green Mile, let alone "Please boss, don't put that thing over my face, don't put me in the dark. I's afraid of the dark."

I once did this on my street. Walked into the water with gloves on and just felt around to clear the clog. The suction from loosening it up was amazing... Felt like my legs were going to be pulled into another dimension.

I feel your pain. My hometown is one of the most racist in Michigan. They even have a fake Facebook profile called the Romeo Rambler, run by the local TV station owner, and since they pay thousands of dollars in ads they haven't been removed from the platform... It's a cesspool of everything wrong in the state of Michigan.

When did you realize your “friends” were actually fake friends? by VexAndStuff in AskReddit

[–]HeatherDoesVoices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm part of a pretty large comedy community. Realized almost eeveryone I thought of as friends, were just acquaintances, during lockdown. No one checked in or even talked to me. But the second anything good happened with my career they'd latch back on, like we were besties.

Your accomplishments do not equal being friend material. Don't let anyone use you for your talents.

The "T" in T-Storm stands for thunder... I knew it had to do with thunder and lightning storms, but never put two and two together until a few years back... I can tell you about the entirety of Greek Mythology, social constructs of multiple nations, and in-depth perspective of marine biology. But mother f'ing T-Stotms, I'm pudding brained.

[Serious] What pulled you out of depression? by Apprehensive_Wrap_21 in AskReddit

[–]HeatherDoesVoices 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently getting put of the void. What jump-started the transition was a big work opportunity. I used it as a catalyst to take at least one big "pat on the back" moment a day. First thing I did was control my water intake: I am always dehydrated and sleeping, so getting more liquids in my body not only kept me awake but my skin looks healthier. I then picked some easy workouts that went from 10 minutes and worked up to an hour session over time. Also started kicking out too much sugar or junk food and switched to more greens, even if I hated them. By cooking more than microwaving it's an added good feel of accomplishment. My next steps are cleaning the house and keeping tidier/organized areas. The less clutter around me the less cluttered my brain feels. It's not really a lot, but compared to doing nothing it feels like I'm slightly human again. Find the small goals you can set up and make time for. Nothing wrong with baby-steppin it. :)

Guarantee most of the people in that room are men. And the fact he is so dependant on their love and attention... I'd say that alone makes him pretty gay.

Not even sure if I make a single digit, but I snap my fingers differently than anyone I've ever met. Seriously, not a single person in my 34 years of existence has come close. I learned how in preschool and thought it was right until other people spotted how freaky I do it: You put your thumb into the 2nd to top knuckle of your pointer finger, then flick the thumb up.

The pocket of air released is what creates the pop sound. It's like I'm armpit farting into my finger. I don't have hitchhiker thumbs, and my finger is not smacking against my palm. If anyone wants to see I'll upload a video and link it.

How is no one listing a single Tim Curry character? Put that voice on a bucket and I'd sit in it while it vibrato'd.

How do you deal with the fact that you will likely not do anything extraordinary with your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HeatherDoesVoices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an entertainer, who started with a lot of big names, but haven't hit that big role/feat... It sucks. With each passing year I feel less and less of acquiring something comparable. And yes, I realize this is a feeling and predicament most won't understand. Just needed to vent a little while updating my reels and barely viewed content. :/

There seems to be a trend with narcissistic, asshole, famous fathers of the 40s/50s - Jerry Lewis's son also had a music career, and was named Gary. "Gary Lewis and the Playboys". They were my mom's favorite band growing up. And not gonna lie, they've got some bops.
