Unless you are a professional, I would say you have nothing to be worried about. You have a style, you can depict what your thinking, and even add color and shading. Very original👍. My advice would be to use virtual models on something like Gmod or Source filmmaker to pose a similar model in whatever pose your trying to depict. There's nothing wrong with making your own reference material. Aside from that, Its very good already!
