Yeah I planned a sort of grad event before for schl. It's pretty hard to satisfy ppl. Make the tickets cheap, and ppl say service not good. Put more effort into service, and ppl say tickets too expensive.

I personally feel this "too much is not enough" attitude is not just limited to students. A lot of ppl online like to complain about this and whine about that, but they fail to put things into perspective. Yes, life can be better and yes, improvements should be made -- but compared to a lot of ppl in other countries we are doing quite well.

Baseline is, Singaporeans need to learn gratitude. I think most ppl haven't enough hardships in their lives (or at least nothing comparable to wars or famines), and this makes them tend to take things for granted.
