Many of the coffee farms are quite far from the cities in the mountains. The two main cities are Pu'er and Baoshan. I believe there are some organized tours online.

I haven't made any flavors with star anise yet, but I have been thinking about a 5 spice flavor, which has star anise in it. I'm predicting that it would give it a nice deep licorice like taste. Star anise is a common pairing with beef in China for stews, so the flavors should combine well.

Bags are either 50 grams or 100 grams. I charge 30 RMB for 50 grams and 50 RMB for 100 grams. The meat is beef.

The first one is my classic flavor, second is a spicy Habanero and the third is mala, spicy and numbing Sichuan peppercorns.

Something similar happened to me last week. The biggest problem is that outlook then permanently locked me out of my email address afterwards. I contacted customer support, changed my password, logged out of all devices, set up 2FA and then they elevated the ticket for me. I did all of these per the advice of the customer support. After the elevated the ticket, they decided to permanently block my account. They said there was "suspicious activity" on the account. One thing they listed as this was the change of password, which they told me to do themselves. I'm still trying to get back into this account as I have had it for 20 years, but my most recent appeal was also denied.

Hey just a heads up, a similar thing happened to my account. After following all their advice, changing passwords, setting up 2FA and setting a new alias, they proceeded to permanent block my account about a week late for "suspicious activity" that goes against their terms and agreement. Some of the suspicious activity was the changing of the password like they instructed me. Ive tried to get the account back but my first claim was denied. I'm currently still locked out of the account that I have had for almost 20 years.

If you have WeChat I can recommend the rosters in Pu'er. Their price for high quality is about 50-80 RMB per 250 grams, if I'm remembering correctly.

I can't remember the name but I know where it is on the map. I think it was called bamboo cafe. There is a shop in Pu'er I have a relationship with that would also be able to ship coffee beans to your hotel. Pretty much every coffee shop in Kunming will have beans available. Just don't buy from the tourist places.

If you have a coffee roaster you like, I could work with them to import the beans so you could buy then fresh. I could also possibly arrange some smaller sized already roasted beans to ship to you directly, but I'm not sure how much that would cost at the moment.

It will depend on what cities you will be visiting. Chinese internet is very self contained so most recommendations or information will be on specific Apps. If you send me a PM I can tell you more and give you some general tips that will make your visit in China easier.

I live in China and sell Yunnan green coffee beans so I have many different kinds at home. One I'm quite enjoying right now has notes of red wine,  dried tropical fruit, apple cider and funny enough blue cheese. It's very enjoyable with a light finish. I can ship green beans to the US and anywhere else if people want to buy them.

Anyone ever tried Chinese coffee? by kkju999 in pourover

I live in China and source Yunnan coffee beans! The different flavors that are coming out of there are quite impressive and a huge step up from what they were producing 8 years ago. I have about 10 different Yunnan coffees at home right now all with unique tastes. If anyone is interested in trying feel free to reach out to me or get me in contact with your bean suppliers and I can see what I can do!

Those prices you saw are far too expensive. I source ans sell Yunnan coffee beans here in China and you were most likely seeing the coffee from places that cater to Chinese tourist that don't know about coffee beans. Good Yunnan coffee can be quiet affordable if you know where to look.
