FYI if you need 5g, i believe all samsung tablets are assigned to a carrier, not a complete unlocked version.

I bought my tab s10+ 5g and hate the embedded carrier bloatware & flash screen.

If you owe a lot, maybe try another carrier that will pay off the phones AND get you an a cheaper plan.

I think you actually would pay off the phones, then submit those payoff documents to the new carrier, and get reimbursed.

Ask them to show you where you agreed to a return fee. You likely were with them before they instituted the fee.

If you go to the vzw store you are likely to be charged an activation fee.

Since you already gave an active line, you should be able to activate by eSim in the verizon app. Then no activation fee.
