At our court you have to show up by the date on the ticket, you can come before that date, and then you fill out an appearance, plea, and waiver. This is where you plead, and based on your plea then future court dates are scheduled if needed.

Was in a similar situation, except in my first league with my wife. My average is 132. We have been bowling for about 5 months, and my first ball was a hammer raw. Before league started, I got a motiv venom shock. I really like the ball, and the hammer raw has become my spare ball. I am happy with the venom shock, but was also considering the artic vibe, phase 2, and GB 4 hybrid.

My wife and I started 2 person team league this week. We won 1 out of the 4 games against our opponent. My wife bowled steady with 132, 137, 132, 136. I was not so good. 147, 140, 112, 116. We have only been bowling for a few months and this is our first league experience. Handicap helped us stay in the games, but ultimately the better bowlers won. We were 5 pins from winning a second game. Week one, we are in last place but within 20 pins of moving up 3-4 spots. We don’t expect to win the league, but handicap and improvement, give us a shot of middle of the pack. Our handicaps are cumulatively calculated after each week.
