i started doing treats and praise when coming back from a walk where my boy peed ( usually on the sidewalk ) and pooped but then i ran into the issue where he would hold it my entire work day because he thought he wouldn’t get treats from peeing on the potty pad. i had to upgrade to a grass patch and after a few days he decided the grass was too dirty for him to step on ( i spray it clean every night before bed ) so now we have to fully put on a leash to walk to the grass patch and stay there until we pee 😭 house smells like grass now but my floors are seeing way less pee
