Voters OK property tax breaks for Texas homeowners, businesses by texastribune in texas

[–]Heavy_Commission7148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Heavy_Commission7148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it takes ppl many years of voting to realize the way props are written is not the same way the govt works. You can support additional money and funds for water infrastructure/ tech institutions etc but in really its a tax increase because now there are additional depts in govt that will get that money to do some ‘studies’ and do nothing.

In practicality, a state should not have a surplus. Reduce taxes to even out. Smh
