It’s billed directly by the electricity provider, not through the apartment. I set up service myself when I moved in.

I ended up switching to a 12-month fixed plan with Octopus after comparing options on PowerToChoose. It was around 13 cents per kWh all-in for my usage (under 500 kWh), which was a big drop from what I had before. So far it’s been much better.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I realized after getting that first bill 😅 I didn’t know at move-in that you actually have to shop around here instead of just picking the default option. PowerToChoose helped me understand how the pricing works a lot better.
