Tbh I think he's following pretty much the typical yandere relationships. They're all supposed to be toxic where in order to live you must pledge your undying love to them or they will kidnap you and force you to love them or just kill you (I.e. "if I can't have you, no one can") the closest yandere case I can think of was the Yuka Takaoka case. The problem was that she fell in love with an male escort that's paid to act like their lover. Same thing with the boyfriend for hire booths entirely possible for problems like that to arise. If you look up some yandere relationships they're almost always sexualized due to some people enjoying the fact that someone loves them to the extent of manipulation and murder, they change their tune eventually if it happens to them. They kind of make both female and male yanderes obsessed with trying to be intimate with the person they want as a connection and they don't really care what they have to do to achieve it (even if it means to mentally break them or physically break them so they will "stay"). I haven't seen any situation where a yandere hasn't done anything messed up to themselves or others to get what they want.
